Digital Mentoring project
One hundred people have pledged an hour of their time to be a digital mentor for South Bristol Digital Neighbourhoods.
George Ferguson (respected, well connected and well known figure, strongly supportive of South Bristol) launched the South Bristol Digital Monitoring Pledge on Pledgebank at the SBDN Launch, asking for 100 mentoring volunteers. 20 days later 97 people had signed up. Pledgebank operators MySociety issued a press release featuring the DM pledge as the fastest growing pledge and Bristol Evening Post (BEP) have reported. The final three mentors have now signed up and were photographed meeting George Ferguson for interviews with BEP.
