Ageing well: European Commission unleashes €600m

By 2020, 25% of the EU's population will be over 65. The European Commission is responding to the challenge with a total investment of over €600 million.

More than half of Europeans are now regular Internet users.

More than 250 million Europeans regularly use Internet, says Commission's ICT Progress Report, 80% of them have broadband connections and 60% of public services in the EU are fully available online.
