A County Antrim pensioner marked his ninetieth birthday today by becoming the 5,000th person to join the digital revolution thanks to a pioneering community initiative launched 18 months ago.

ADULTS with a learning disability in Ballymoney have joined the digital revolution by learning how to use a computer and the internet thanks to a joint venture between EverybodyOnline and Compass Advocacy Network.

On 23 July, 2008 the Unity Youth & Community Centre will unveil its newly refurbished ICT Suite and Sports Hall at a launch event.

Local internet project EverybodyOnline teamed up with Andover Family Learning to hold an ‘Online Safety for Parents’ workshop at the Longmeadow Centre in Andover. Parents and grandparents came along to the two hour workshop to learn how to help children and teenagers surf the internet safely.
