Prison ICT Academy (PICTA)
PICTA is an HM Treasury funded project that aims to promote IT training within Prisons and later via Probation. PICTA offers courses ranging from basics for prisoners without any experience, through the European Computer Driving Licence and on to the high-level Cisco qualifications that produce engineers with the combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience needed for well-paid jobs, rebuilding machines and installing networks

Ariel Trust
Ariel Trust’s Radio in Schools Project gets on youngsters’ wavelength by enabling them to explore important social issues in a stimulating broadcasting context. As well as providing specific radio-related learning opportunities, the course covers core ICT skills, communications techniques and boosts the confidence of youngsters who take part. Additionally, the project leads to participants achieving a Level 2 Open College qualification, which introduces the possibility of a career in radio.
